Summer solstice is the longest day of the year, and the official first day of summer! Throughout history, people have recognized this as a time for celebration and creativity. For more than two decades, summer solstice has also marked a festive time when new artwork is added to Websters Woods Sculpture Park.
While there won’t be large events this summer, the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center has installed new artwork in time for Solstice on June 20, and has produced an updated park map and virtual tours so that visitors can enjoy the park and its art collection while practicing safe social distancing all summer long.
