Buster Simpson, Path
When I was little my father was in the Coast Guard and would go away for weeks, or even months at a time. In the evenings after he came home he would pick up his guitar, gather his family around him on the couch and make up silly songs about Janet-Bobby-Linda and about his adventures on the high sea. That was some of the best work he ever did as a dad.
Imagine that you are on duty, serving in the forest. You come across this blade in a tree. Some burning questions are “Did somebody get lost here?” “Are there more like this?” “Can you hear the song it is humming?“ “Is it a symbol for infinity?” Make up a story - long or short, silly or sad (we can take it) - for all the children to whom you are coming home.
