An enchanting new Northwest Century begins at the Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park with a grand view of its inspiration — the Olympic Mountains, your beacon for the next 100 miles. The cross-Sound ferry ride leads to a meandering country ride that’s never far from water. Back roads traverse tony Bainbridge Island, slip through historic Suquamish and Port Gamble, cross Hood Canal and wind around inlets to Port Hadlock, Discovery Bay and Sequim Bay, finally gliding onto the splendid Olympic Discovery Bicycle Trail for the final twenty miles to the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center and its charming natural sculpture park at the foot of the Olympic Mountains.
