The Esther Webster Gallery is housed in a mid-century modern architectural gem, which was once the home of the Webster's, and we want to share it with you! We invite you to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Webster's home with a private experience of your choosing.

An Intimate Evening at Esther’s House - $125

Esther’s expansive great room with its panoramic view of the harbor and Strait provides a gorgeous setting for an intimate dinner – the perfect spot to escape for a special occasion or a romantic night out with someone you love.
Your evening will begin with a brief welcome and introduction to Esther’s house and the Arts Center; then we’ll give you space to enjoy your intimate candle-lit dinner with a stunning view of the harbor and Strait. We’ll even have your favorite music lined up and ready to go.
Enjoy a complimentary bottle of Camaraderie Cellars’ Plein Air Red and a pair of souvenir PAFAC wine glasses. Bring your choice of takeout or have your dinner delivered to the Center; staff can recommend local restaurants as needed. We'll provide real dishes and cloth napkins, and we'll take care of all the washing up.

Explore a brand-new artistic direction, jump-start a stalled project, or just see what happens when you make space for your creative spirit to show up.
Your escape will begin with a brief welcome and introduction to Esther’s house and the Arts Center; then we’ll give you space to settle in at your work table or seek inspiration from our playful smorgasbord of art supplies. We can even have your favorite music lined up and ready to go.
We'll provide a wide assortment of tools and materials suitable for creating small works of art, experimenting with a new medium, or quickly mocking up designs for a larger project. Experienced artists using professional-grade materials or those intending to continue work on an existing project will probably wish to bring their own supplies. Please let us know if you have questions about specific tools or materials.

The striking architecture of Esther’s gracious living room, designed in 1951 by noted Northwest architect Paul Hayden Kirk, provides a perfect setting for this cozy time-traveling adventure.
Your visit will begin with a brief welcome and introduction to Esther’s house and the Arts Center; then we’ll give you space to enjoy your choice of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, served up in Esther’s own black Wedgewood teacups.* Peruse our collection of historic photographs or take in a stunning view of the Port Angeles harbor and Strait from the comfort of a classic Danish modern armchair.** We’ll even play your choice of mid-century jazz (Esther’s favorite) or your own favorite music.
This package includes:
* Authentic 1954 Wedgewood Black Basalt teaware, originally belonging to Esther Webster. Alternate serving ware is available on request.
** Authentic 1960 teak Borge Jensen & Sønner for Bernstorffsminde Møbelfabrik chairs, originally belonging to Esther Webster & lovingly reupholstered by Katherine Occhiogrosso. Like many mid-century designs, these chairs sit lower than contemporary furniture and may not be comfortable for everyone. Alternate seating options are available on request.
