Executive Director - Synopsis of Job Description
A position is open for Executive Director of Port Angeles Fine Art Center on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. The successful candidate will work with the Board of Directors to fulfill the organization’s mission through programs, strategic planning, sound financial management, and community outreach. He/She will develop sufficient resources to ensure the financial health of the organization. He/She will supervise and collaborate with a staff of two full-time employees plus volunteers. He/She will serve as the primary spokesperson to the organization’s constituents, the media, and the general public.
The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center is housed in a historical, mid-twentieth-century home of Esther Webster. It overlooks the scenic Strait of Juan de Fuca, the south side of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, and the San Juan Islands. Nestled in five-acre woods and Art Park it lies at the foot of National Forest and the Olympic National Park.
The position pays in the $50,000's depending on experience and includes vacation and health benefits.
